By accessing or using SimpleMonth ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Subscription and Billing

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe to a paid plan:

• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion. Generally, we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, but you may contact us to discuss your situation.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for:

• Tracking your own transactions, accounts, and financial goals

Prohibited Use

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code or harmful data

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you input into the Service. We provide tools to help you manage your finances, but we do not verify the accuracy of your data.

Not Financial Advice: The Service is a tool for financial tracking and reconciliation. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult with qualified professionals for financial advice.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Bank Connectivity (Plaid): If you enable bank sync, you will be subject to Plaid's terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Plaid's services or data handling.
• Hosting and Infrastructure: The Service is hosted on third-party infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase). We are not responsible for outages or issues with these services beyond our control.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SimpleMonth and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your data as necessary to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIMPLEMONTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.

Termination
